PURE PIGMENTS

The pigments are very finely ground into a surfactant base and then mixed with an acrylic binder which is flexible but tough and dries to make all the colours fully water resistant making wet on dry techniques much easier. The finely ground pigments give fine dispersion, great color development, strength and brightness

Each pigment has its own unique natural character and this dictates its opacity. Among the 12 ink colours, you will find a choice of opaque, semi-opaque and transparent and even metallic shades – all shown on the label – to help you achieve a range of effects. Brustro Acrylic Ink gives you water-resistance and permanence not seen in regular inks. Because it’s acrylic, the ink dries quickly and doesn’t move once dry – which means you can over-paint without bleeding and achieve multi-layered, velvety surface effects. Smudge-proof.

USAGE

Brustro Acrylic Inks should be shaken well before use as the fine pigment particles will separate over time from the binder. This is completely normal. Simply shake the bottle, Due to the nature of the metallic pigments in gold and iridescent, these inks will require more vigorous shaking.

All the colours are intermixable making wet on wet painting, such as watercolour applications, exciting and challenging. The metallic gold offer interesting additions and effects due to the different surface tension of these colours and can be added to the other colours to make them metallic.
